Council decision/outcome
At its meeting on Tuesday 26 March 2019, Council considered the feedback received from the community and made a decision to proceed with the new playground at Coolabah Reserve (as per the information and concept plan provided during community engagement).
Coolabah Reserve, Modbury North has been included in the 2018-2019 financial year budget for a new playground to be installed.
Before we finalise plans for the proposed installation of the playground, we want to better understand how you currently use the space and what improvements you would like to see.
The act of installing a playground to this reserve would require an amendment to the Community Land Management Plan for Modbury North, in which Coolabah Reserve is listed. Council is also required to consult with the community for such an amendment.
Those who provided feedback were advised of the Council meeting date and further information once a decision was made.
