Consultation has concluded
This consultation closed on 10 October 2019.
The feedback provided us with a good understanding on how you regard the inclusion of the 'nature play' elements. After reviewing the feedback, the results indicate that the inclusion of the'nature play' elements will proceed with the elements listed below.
We anticipate that the construction of the 'nature play' areas will be scheduled between January and June 2020. We will use onsite signage to advise the community of the exact time-frames.
Background
As part of the Annual Business Plan 2019-2020, Council has allocated $75,000 to add ‘nature play’ elements to John Eichner Memorial Reserve (located at 91-111 Reuben Richardson Road, Greenwith).
The nature play elements proposed to be added to the existing playground include:
- Tee pees
- Stepping logs
- Balance logs
- Stone steppers
- Rope bridge or cargo net
The concept plan showing the above works to be undertaken in the 2019-2020 financial year (i.e. prior to June 30 2020) can be viewed in the document library.
Please note final play equipment will be selected based on community feedback.
