The proposal: Council has accepted grant funding from the Government of South Australia, through the Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing, to construct six (6) additional multipurpose tennis/netball courts and lighting at Banksia Park Sports Area. The proposed concept plan also includes 30 additional off-street parking spaces on Elizabeth Street. Installing additional courts and lighting would require an amendment to the Banksia Park Sports Area Community Land Management Plan.
