Council decision/outcomes

During the consultation period, we heard from 75 people who provided over 200 comments and ideas for this open space, either online via our ‘Have your Say’ website or in person at onsite feedback sessions at Edinburgh & Solandra Reserves. This feedback was used to assist in the development of a draft concept plan for the Dry Creek Corridor which was presented, along with the community feedback, to Council at a meeting on 24 March 2020.

At this meeting Council made the decision to endorse the Dry Creek Corridor concept plan and allocate budget in the 2020-2021 draft Annual Business Plan towards a staged upgrade of this space, starting with:

  • development of Edinburgh Reserve including an all-inclusive playspace
  • upgrades to Solandra Reserve

We will also be investigating grant funding opportunities for this project.
