Considerate and Caring

We've been blessed with wonderful neighbours since we moved into our Modbury street 12 years ago. Our neighbours on one side have lived in their home since it was built in the 1960s and they are so lovely, always ready for a chat over the fence. They have a beautiful fluffy ginger cat who is best mates with our cat. The two furboys often sit on our front porch together watching the world go by. Our neighbours on the other side work from home, and are surrogate parents to our dog who adores them. We've even loosened a sheet in the back fence between us, so if we get home and can't find the dog we know he's in next door keeping them company! Across the road we have another lovely family. We've watched their children grow, and now we see their grandchildren visit regularly. People have come and gone in the street over the years and it's not uncommon to have kids riding their bikes up and down the street, or playing footy out on the road. It's a really lovely community feel in our street and we're so lucky to live here.
