    Terrific St Agnes Neighbours

Where we live, we have a great group of neighbours and friends in our Court who all get along so well, that we have a Christmas get together in one of our houses on a rotating basis every year.

I wanted to briefly tell you about three of our neighbours/friends in the Court in particular who are the ones we have known for the longest.

    1. Neighbours/friends just up the road look after our little dog every time we go away on holidays and they are just wonderful with her. It is never too much trouble. Short notice, or longer... Continue reading

We have lived in our street for over 10 years and have a wonderful, diverse group of neighbours. We have seen kids become grown ups, babies born and the oldies loving their retirement. When the S.O.S goes out there is always someone to help -  borrowing the electric beaters, some screws to hang a new painting or man power to move a fridge. The bins get taken out and the neighbourhood look out is on duty whenever someone is away. When the smell of the meat cooker wafts through the street, we know it's time to sit down, enjoy a... Neighbours...should be there for one another....

My husband and I bought our first home in Surrey Downs in 2017. When we first moved in, we were instantly we were greeted by our neighbours within the first 24 hours of moving in.

We love our neighbours! We love the over the fence chats, watching their young children grow, sharing veggies and fruit from our veggie gardens and fruit trees.  We take turns looking after each others pets when we go on holidays.

Our neigbours have been so helpful, they have even have come over and gave us a hand when we were landscaping our front garden.

    We... Continue reading

    Best neighbours ever

We have only lived here for 2 and a half years and we don't only love our home but our neighbours too. It's the chats in the yard (front or back), the balls that get thrown back over the fence as randomly as the kids hit them over. It's the quiet drink in their driveway or when you host a party and they take down part of the fence to allow your guests access to their backyard! True story. All the kids loved playing on our neighbours trampoline. The ones with kids and the ones with grandkids. Our neighbours are... Continue reading

Our neighbours are fabulous . They often pop in with fresh veggies and herbs from their garden, homemade jam and baked goodies. They let our toddler roam their large garden and treat him like a grandson. They are regular guests at our birthday parties and family gatherings.

We are so blessed to have them across the road and are grateful to them for always looking out for us.

    We love our neighbours!

What a relaxing day of the week. There is a real sense of community in our court.

You can see your next door neighbour walk his dogs in the morning,

and we sometimes get together for a chat or a wine which may lead to a barbecue hosted by our friendly smoked meats business.

It is great to have like minded people on your street that have the same values with caring for our animals and environment.

My neighbourhood is great. I’ve lived here 35 years ( wow- time flies). Ups and downs happen and it’s great to have good neighbours that you have a good relationship with or can rely on. And also share bins with with when one of us has too much green waste or rubbish.

I have a few good neighbours. We share and vent about life and kids. The closest neighbour is one that has also been there a while now. Our kids have grown up together from birth to teenagers now. We are there when one of us has run out... Continue reading
